# Neutralyze for Sensitive Skin

> How to use Neutralyze acne products on sensitive skin: patch testing, frequency ramp-up, and what makes the formulas gentle.

Neutralyze products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind: fragrance-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and built around **mandelic acid — one of the gentlest AHAs** (its larger molecule penetrates more slowly than glycolic acid).

## Sensitive-skin protocol

1. **Patch test for 3 days**: apply to one or two small areas (e.g., behind the ear) once daily.
2. **Start once daily, in the evening**, with a single product (Face Wash is the gentlest entry).
3. **Add products one at a time**, a week apart, before building to the full routine.
4. A brief tingle in the first applications is normal for an effective low-pH exfoliant. Persistent stinging, redness, or peeling means reduce frequency to once a day or every other day.

If you have active rosacea or eczema, consult your dermatologist before starting. Discontinue and contact [customerservice@neutralyze.com](mailto:customerservice@neutralyze.com) if irritation persists — every product is covered by the 60-day money-back guarantee.
